Poisontail were never originally part of the fungal ecosystem. They lived in isolation, guarding their dens and destroying anything that threatened their species. After the coming of the Darkness, the mycelium bent their will to its own. Now Venomtails serve as Sentinels, protecting not their offspring, but the fungal network itself-a part of the Grimwood Hive.
